Well it's the responsibility of the tree spirit in any forest to protect that forest and the other ayakashi and animals that live in it! So a lot of what that entails is dealing with humans who are threatening the ayakashi.
Ooh, so that's why you're all anti-human? I guess I'd be pretty mad too if a bunch of jerks showed up in my home and started threatening my buddies....

Well.. normally, kinda. But for me, it's in my blood. The women in my family have been mediums for generations, so I'm just continuing the tradition.
